Which brokers we can read

The file each broker exports, and what it settles for you before anything reaches your return. This list is generated from the parsers this site ships, so it is what the upload form will actually accept.

File types: csv, txt, tsv, json, xlsx. Up to 20 MB per file. A statement is parsed and then deleted, unless you ask us to keep it.

    Settled by the broker

    • Nobody here has held a real export from this broker: the columns are taken from published write-ups, and a file that does not match them is refused rather than half-read.
    • What this broker withholds for a Belgian resident is not established, so every import says so. The figures assume nothing is withheld and that you self-declare — check a statement before filing, because declaring a tax already taken means paying it twice.
  • Bitvavo

    Files accepted

    • Bitvavo — transaction history CSV

    Settled by the broker

    • A crypto trade is not a stock-exchange transaction, so no stock exchange tax arises and none is generated. Whether the 2026 capital-gains regime reaches the gain is an open question, and the figures say so rather than settling it.
  • Kraken

    • Kraken — ledgers CSV

    Settled by the broker

    • A crypto trade is not a stock-exchange transaction, so no stock exchange tax arises and none is generated. Whether the 2026 capital-gains regime reaches the gain is an open question, and the figures say so rather than settling it.
    • The export is a double-entry ledger: one trade is two lines. They are paired back together, and a crypto-for-crypto swap is named rather than priced, because the euro value of what left is not in the file.
  • Coinbase

    • Coinbase — transaction history CSV

    Settled by the broker

    • A crypto trade is not a stock-exchange transaction, so no stock exchange tax arises and none is generated. Whether the 2026 capital-gains regime reaches the gain is an open question, and the figures say so rather than settling it.
    • The export carries a few account lines above its real header, and the header itself has changed three times; all of them are read.

    • Binance — transaction record CSV

    Settled by the broker

    • A crypto trade is not a stock-exchange transaction, so no stock exchange tax arises and none is generated. Whether the 2026 capital-gains regime reaches the gain is an open question, and the figures say so rather than settling it.
    • Only trades against a currency are read. A swap into a stablecoin disposes of one asset and acquires another, and the file states no euro value for either side, so those are reported rather than priced.
  • Bitpanda

    • Bitpanda — transaction history CSV

    Settled by the broker

    • A crypto trade is not a stock-exchange transaction, so no stock exchange tax arises and none is generated. Whether the 2026 capital-gains regime reaches the gain is an open question, and the figures say so rather than settling it.
    • Fractional shares and ETFs are sold here as derivative contracts rather than the security itself. Those rows are marked for review rather than priced: what such a contract does to the stock exchange tax is not established.
  • Freedom24

    Files accepted

    • Freedom24 — broker report JSON

    Settled by the broker

    • Download the broker report as JSON (menu → Reports → Broker report), not the spreadsheet beside it: only the JSON file is read. Currency conversions inside the account are named and left out — they are not securities trades.
  • eToro

    Files accepted

    • eToro — account statement XLSX

    Settled by the broker

    • The whole account is kept in US dollars: every amount on the statement is USD whatever currency the instrument trades in, and quantities are fractional. Conversion to euro uses the ECB reference rate per date.
    • CFD positions are leveraged contracts rather than the security itself, and the statement records the margin posted, not what the position is worth. Those rows are named and left out, so the figures are incomplete for an account that trades CFDs.
    • Nobody here has held a real export from this broker: the columns are taken from published write-ups, and a file that does not match them is refused rather than half-read.

Not yet

The brokers we cannot read today, and why. There is no date on this list: a parser gets written when there is a machine-readable file to read and people asking for it.

Bolero
The export is a spreadsheet (XLSX). The pipeline reads that format now; a parser for this broker's layout is not written yet.
Keytrade Bank
No machine-readable export is published — the statements are PDF.
Saxo
No parser written, and none scheduled.
MeDirect
No parser written, and none scheduled.
Re=Bel
No parser written, and none scheduled.
ING
No parser written, and none scheduled.
BNP Paribas Fortis
No parser written, and none scheduled.
Belfius
No parser written, and none scheduled.

Your broker is on neither list?

Tell us its name. It is the only unbiased evidence we have for which parser to write next, and it asks for nothing else: no address, no account.

Where each row comes from

a
Follows from the confirmed rule for brokers established outside Belgium. We have not read this broker's own wording on this point.
b
The broker states this itself.
c
The broker says nothing either way. We assume it does not withhold, so that the tax stays yours to settle rather than being reported as already paid.
d

Reported by a guide or comparison site, not by the broker.
  • Interactive Brokers: DOMAIN.md § 1–2 [CONFIRMED]: brokers established outside Belgium withhold neither the TOB nor the capital-gains tax, and their clients self-declare. Read 2026-08-05.
  • MEXEM: MEXEM states in its own FAQ that it withholds the TOB at source ([CONFIRMED] in config/tax_be.php). It is an Interactive Brokers introducing broker, so its clients export IBKR's files while being taxed differently. On dividends, the capital-gains tax and a Belgian tax certificate it states nothing either way. Read 2026-08-05.
  • LYNX: LYNX's own page, updated 11 June 2026, quoted in DOMAIN.md § 1: "LYNX zal werken met het opt-out systeem. Dit betekent dat LYNX de Belgische meerwaardebelasting niet automatisch aan de bron inhoudt." It does withhold the TOB (DOMAIN.md § 2, Belgian brokers list). On dividends, firebelgium.com reports it withholds the TOB on ETFs without withholding the ETF dividend tax; a second source is needed before that flag moves. Corrected 2026-08-05.
  • DEGIRO: TOB: tob.tax describes DEGIRO's withholding as optional, investnow.be as automatic — the two disagree and the current default is [VERIFY] in config/tax_be.php. Dividend and certificate: DOMAIN.md § 3 [CONFIRMED] — DEGIRO withholds no Belgian dividend withholding tax and issues no Belgian tax certificate. Capital gains: DOMAIN.md § 1 [CONFIRMED] — DEGIRO does not withhold. Read 2026-08-05.
  • Trade Republic: DOMAIN.md § 1–2 [CONFIRMED]: brokers established outside Belgium withhold neither the TOB nor the capital-gains tax, and their clients self-declare. Read 2026-08-05.
  • BUX: BUX (now "BUX by ABN AMRO: Invest") states itself that it has withheld the TOB since December 2022 and that it does not withhold the Belgian dividend tax; it does not withhold the 2026 capital-gains tax either. Recorded [CONFIRMED] in config/tax_be.php, read 2026-08-05.
